The Early Childhood Development Framework for Action (May 2001)
The Early Childhood Development Framework for Action provides direction for a holistic approach to programs, services and initiatives covering the prenatal period, birth, infancy and early childhood. The Departments of Health and Social Services and Education, Culture and Employment worked together to develop the Framework. It documents the commitment by the Government of the Northwest Territories to addressing early childhood development in a well-defined and coordinated way.
