This report fulfills the commitment made by the Government of the Northwest Territories to report annually to Canadians providing 2005-2006 early childhood development expenditures and activities related to the four key areas of action identified in the September 2000 First Ministers' Meeting Communiqué on Early Childhood Development. The report also contains the baseline comparable indicators as agreed to in the shared framework for reporting.
Note: In the letter dated August 4, 2006, that was sent out to inform the first ministers about the release of this document, it was noted that the year on the title was incorrect. Please note that the year on the title is 2004-2005, not 2005-2006.
