NWT Literacy Strategy

The NWT Literacy Strategy presents a vision of literacy in the NWT where everyone can read and write and participate fully in society.  It sets out goals, objectives and an action plan to guide activities between 2001/02 and 2005/06.  The Strategy involves a full range of government programs and services and describes partnership roles between government and non-government organizations.  The Department of Education, Culture and Employment has the lead in this initiative.
