The Department
Under the
direction of the Minister, the Department of Health and Social Services
is mandated to provide a broad range of health and social programs and
services to the residents of the NWT.
The
Department’s responsibilities are reflected in our mission statement:
The Department’s mission is to promote, protect and
provide for the health and well-being of the people of the Northwest
Territories.
