The Ontario Regional office of Telefilm Canada, located in Toronto,
services the film, television, new media and music industries in Ontario and
Nunavut. The office has been operating since 1968 and administers various funds
and programs that contribute to the development and promotion of these vibrant
industries. In addition to processing close to 500 funding requests each
year, with a staff of 28, the office also supports Ontario festivals through
the Canada Showcase Program and promotes industrial and professional development
opportunities within the region.
