Northern Mapping
The Northern Mapping section completes regional geoscience mapping programs to meet stakeholder information and knowledge needs, including those of the energy, mineral and environmental sectors.
Activities include:
- Mapping of unconsolidated surficial material
- Mapping of bedrock topography and drift thickness
- Quaternary stratigraphic investigations
- Stream sediment, stream water and till geochemical surveys
- Mapping near-surface bedrock
