Members of the board
are appointed by the Minister Responsible for the NWT Power Corporation.
The Board's operating authorities are defined in legislation.Two standing
committees have been established:
Audit and Efficiency
Committee
Reviews and reports to the Board on financial, operating and liability
matters, and ensures the policies and obligations of the Corporation
are maintained and in compliance with law.
Governance and
Compensation Committee
Reviews and reports to the Board on the application of Board authority,
and on executive level performance and salaries.
The Board meets
quarterly. Its administrative affairs are managed by the Corporate Secretary.
