Explore the galleries to learn about ancient creatures that roamed this area millions of years ago, including the world's first reptiles and giant dragonflies. See palaeontologists at work on dinosaur fossils in the lab, try hands-on activities and interact with our experts.

How to get there

Directions from Halifax:
180km, 2hrs
Travel north on Highway 102 to Truro, and take Exit 15W for Highway 104 West. Continue on 104 West until Glenholm, Exit 12. Follow this exit and look for signs for Highway 2 North to Parrsboro.

Directions from Truro:
80km, 1 hr
Travel West on Highway 104 to Glenholm, Exit 12. Follow this exit and look for signs for Highway 2 North to Parrsboro.

Directions from Moncton:
113km, 1.5hrs
Travel East on Highway 104 to Amherst, and take Exit 4, then follow Highway 2 South about three kilometers to the flashing light in Nappan. Follow Highway 302 to Southampton and re-join Highway 2 South. Look for signs to Parrsboro and museum signs to the Fundy Geological Museum.

Bilingual Services Some French interpretative panels on display. Guided tours may be available in French with advance reservation.
