The BPPA allows book publishing professionals and students to meet with their peers outside of the work environment and provides a forum in which they may share professional knowledge and information. Our activity season runs from September through May and includes monthly program evenings and seminars along with other special events. Program evenings bring together a panel of publishing experts to discuss current industry issues, whereas seminars allow the participants to interact with an individual expert in an informal educational session. Please note that space at seminars is limited; participants must register in advance. Program evenings are free for all members. In December of each year the BPPA Executive and a host of volunteers put on the much-anticipated annual Cabaret show, a comical look at the past year in publishing.
