Registry of Lobbyists - About Us

The Registry of Lobbyists was established in 2002 to promote open, accountable and accessible government. The public can search the Registry for free.

In addition to a FAQ that addresses common questions, this Web site offers a number of resources. Among these are two documents suitable for those who would like to download and print material about the Registry.

Registry of Lobbyists Fact Sheet: A brief overview.

Guide to the Registry of Lobbyists: A more thorough examination of the Registry and its functions. The guide is intended to help individuals and organizations involved in lobbying to understand their responsibilities.

The information on this Web site and in the above documents is general in nature. It is the responsibility of the lobbyist and/or the lobbyist's employer to determine if registration is necessary. For more information, contact your legal counsel or refer to:
Lobbyists' Registration Act
Lobbyists' Registration Regulations

Anyone who has determined that they or their employees are required to be registered, may submit their lobbyist registration on-line or by using the proper paper form.
