  • Family TreeMaker Genealogical Software

What can you do at the Public Archives CAP Site?

  • Search or surf the Internet using Netscape or Internet Explorer
  • Use our Genealogy, History, and Tourism Resource Guides to access selected, authoritative websites on the Internet
  • Create family trees and format or print family information using Family TreeMaker
  • Set up a web-based e-mail account to send and receive your e-mail
  • Write letters, résumés, and other documents using Word
  • Create tables, charts, and spreadsheets using Excel
  • Create presentations for class or work using PowerPoint
  • Scan in pictures, text or both for use in your projects using the high-quality CAP Scanner
  • Print out your letters, papers, résumés, documents, tables, charts, presentations, scanned images, and other projects on the high-quality CAP Printer
  • Touch up, or get creative with, your scanned pictures in Photoshop or PhotoDeluxe
  • Create print-ready illustrations and line art with Illustrator
  • Create simple web-pages or elaborate web-sites using GoLive
