Government Surplus Auction

The Nova Scotia government surplus auction in Dartmouth this weekend will offer large blades for snowplows, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, machine shop lathes, vehicles, cellphones, filing cabinets, and even an unassembled 14x16-foot auto body paint booth.

A link to a partial list, with photos, is posted on the home page of the Department of Transportation and Public Works' website at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/.

Conducted by A&A; Auctioneering, the auction will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Transportation and Public Works' warehouse at 10 Acadia St., in Dartmouth at 10 a.m. Items can be viewed between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Payment must be made by cash or auctioneer-approved cheque. Credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.

Money earned in this auction is used to pay down the provincial debt.
