The main purpose of the Royal Gazette is to notify the public of the law.  Publication of a regulation in the Royal Gazette is prima facie proof of its text and that it was properly made, approved, and filed (see subsection 9(1) of the Regulations Act). 

The Royal Gazette Part II is issued every other week and is available by subscription or may be viewed at most libraries across the Province.
