Library and Information Resources

Books, journals, reports, databases and videos are some of the information resources available through Library and Information Resources. The Library assists staff in their work-related activities with research and loan services.

Members of the public are also welcome to conduct research, borrow circulating materials through the interlibrary loan process, and view public documents. Appointments are required.

Full text hard copies of Nova Scotia Environment and Labour Acts and Regulations can be ordered online through Goverment Publications. Online full text versions are also available on our Legislation page.

These databases do not require a subscription.

Public Services

Faxing:

Faxing is available to external clients at a cost of $10.00 per fax plus photocoping charges.

Photocopying:

Photocopying is available at a cost of 20 cents per page. All photocopying is subject to the Canadian Copyright Act

Interlibrary Loans:

Interlibrary loan requests are accepted from all libraries. The loan period is three weeks, with one renewal. There are no fees for interlibrary loans
