Services Group
Pension Services Group is a division
of the Pensions and Investments Branch of the Nova Scotia Department
of Finance. It is responsible for the administration of the Teachers'
Pension Plan, the Public Service Superannuation
Plan, the Members of the Legislative
Assembly Pension Plan and the Sydney
Steel Corporation Superannuation Fund.
In addition to information and tools relating to the pension plans,
this site also provides a means of online pension services. Online
calculators are now available which may be used to calculate the
cost to you to purchase prior service or to calculate your pension estimate.

Tools.
The information presented on this web site attempts to explain, in plain
language, the rules of the various pension plans and programmes which
the Pension Services Group administers. Plan members, beneficiaries
and others who wish to determine their legal rights and obligations
under these plans and programmes should refer to the governing legislation,
regulations or other legal documents as appropriate. In the event of
a discrepancy between the information provided on this web site and
the legislation and/or legal documents previously mentioned, the latter
shall prevail.
