Effective March 10, 2006, the Labour Market Monthly replaces the Employment Situation Report and the Labour Market Report. The Labour Force Data, Historical, 1996-2005, a compilation of data from Statistics Canada’s revised series, effective January 25, 2006, is also available at the new site. NOTE Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates have undergone extensive revisions. See CANSIM Communique This publication contains labour market key indicators including labour force summary, total wages and salaries, average weekly earnings help-wanted index, and public sector employment. Each month also features an article on some aspect of the labour market.
