Test Your Financial IQ
(TYFIQ) Contest Winner

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission is pleased to announce the provincial winner of the Test Your Financial IQ (TYFIQ) contest which is sponsored by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA). The winner, Alyssa Mitchell of Bridgewater has won a cash prize of $750. Alyssa is a grade 11 student at Park View Education Centre.
The TYFIQ contest, for youth aged 15-21 years, took place from March 1 to March 31, 2006. The on-line contest featured questions and information on budgeting, saving and investing. Participants were encouraged to learn about financial matters and answer questions using hyperlinks to useful sites.
Young people can look forward to another edition of the TYFIQ contest next year!
