Quality Evaluation is a division of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture
whose core businesses are Analytical Services: the
business of providing chemical, microbiological and
physical analysis of agricultural materials, Education:
the business of providing interpretation of analyses
and educational support services for nutrient management,
animal health and food product quality, Promotion
of Services: the business of encouraging the use of
services as management tools for improved production
efficiency and quality products for the consumer while
generating revenue, Health Protection: the business
of administering legislation designed to ensure that
Nova Scotians receive quality agri-food products.
