Telefilm Canada Announces Bursary Winners for 2005 TVA-HEC Film and Television Management Program
Montréal, October 20, 2005 - Telefilm Canada, in conjunction with
HEC-Montréal's executive training group, is pleased to announce the names
of the seven production professionals granted a bursary to attend the next TVA-HEC
film and television management program.
The weeklong seminar will take place November 16-23. This is the second year
that Telefilm Canada has partnered with the TVA-HEC program, which helps entrepreneurs
develop the managerial skills needed in a highly competitive environment.
The competition for the $3,200 bursaries is aimed primarily at owner-operators
of private-sector production and distribution companies working in film or television.
It is open to professionals from the Montréal area and other regions
of Quebec and to Francophone professionals from outside Quebec.
The selection committee composed of Telefilm Canada and HEC-Montréal
representatives received 16 applications and chose seven.
