that support our provincial government's commitment to improve the
quality of life of all Manitobans. Manitoba Agriculture, Food and
Rural Initiatives is committed to the overall provincial strategic
priorities of northern development, community economic development,
healthy children, sustainable development, clean water, aboriginal
development, and civil service renewal. |

Agriculture in the
Classroom-Manitoba Inc. has a great deal of ideas, tools and
resources for teachers and schools designed to assist in teaching
agricultural awareness. |
The Manitoba
Farm Women's Conference is a non profit organization run by
volunteer farm women. A conference is planned once a year in one of
three cities in Manitoba. It's aim is to provide farm women from
around the province with an opportunity to expand knowledge, inform
and communicate ideas and above all enjoy. |

Manitoba Women’s
Institute is a provincial rural women’s organization dedicated
to personal development, family, agriculture, rural development and
community action - locally and globally under the motto "For Home
and Country." It is strictly non-partisan and non-sectarian in every
phase of its work and operates for the equal good of all citizens. |

Century Farm Program honours Manitoba's pioneer farm families who
have been able to maintain a farm unit within their family for 100
consecutive years, or more. |
The Manitoba Agricultural
Hall of Fame honours deserving individuals who have made a
significant contribution to agriculture and their community.
Individuals and organizations are invited to submit nominations for
consideration. |

Manitoba Association of
Agricultural Societies houses the Manitoba Fair, Festival &
Exhibition dates and judging standards. |
Manitoba Agricultural Museum is Canada’s largest collection of
operating vintage farm machinery from 1900 and beyond. The
collection includes over 500 implements as well as a pioneer village
with over 20 buildings. |

The Southwest Farm Women's Network provides educational and
networking opportunities for rural women throughout the Southwest
Region o Manitoba. This addressing challenges farm & rural women
face within their families, communities, and the agriculture
industry through education, support, and sharing. |
