To aid in the usability and accessibility of our site, we employ the following design rules:

- Our links have non-contextual descriptions for screen reader users browsing links only.
Accessibility of External Links
While accessibility is a priority for Service Canada, some external sites may not be fully accessible.
Some of the materials and graphical elements found on Service Canada's Web site lead to other organizations. Service Canada cannot guarantee that all of these external sites are accessible to all users of assistive technologies.

Skip Navigation Features
If the keyboard is your main method of using a Web site, our Skip Navigation link lets you go directly to pre-determined locations on the page.

This link allows you to skip directly to the content of the page bypassing both the top navigational bar and the left menu.
