This "Help" page was designed to bring to your attention some of the features within the Non-Canadians Gateway and to make your visit to this site more productive.

If you've experienced technical difficulties during your visit to the Non-Canadians gateway, or if you'd like some help with navigating this site, feel free to call our toll-free service line at 1 800 755-7046 (in Canada and the United States only). Information officers are available to help you, in your choice of English or French, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Canadian Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

If you are calling from outside Canada and the United States, you can use international toll-free numbers or contact the nearest Canadian representatives abroad to access information on Government of Canada programs and services.

Navigation

Navigating or browsing the Non-Canadians Gateway is relatively easy because of the top red and black navigation bar and the convenient buttons on the left side of the Non-Canadians home page.

You can click on any one of the red or black buttons in the navigation bar to go to the page that it represents. You can also click on any of the titles in the left menu bar and go directly to the information source that you have chosen. If you click on the black button entitled "Canada Site," located in the top navigation bar, you will leave the Non-Canadians Gateway and go to the home page of the Canada Site. If you click on the black button called "Home," you will return to the home page of the Non-Canadians Gateway.

The Canadian Business and Canadians Gateways are two other gateways or sub-portals that can be accessed from the home page of the Canada Site. Each can be reached with a simple click on the appropriate title in the left-hand menu bar. Canadians Business was designed for individuals and businesses that are interested in government information, services and resources that are available to support Canadian business. Canadians and Residents will bring you to collections of information, grouped by subject, that will be of interest to all people in Canada as well as Canadian citizens living, working or travelling abroad.
