Royal Roads University MOU will aid students
at all BC universities

Bob Skene, acting president of Royal Roads University (RRU), signs a first-of-its-kind memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the CFLC on September 29, 2006. CANADIAN FORCES RESERVE FORCE DAY IN BC
30 NOVEMBER 2006

On 29 Sept 2006, the Honourable Iona Campagnolo, the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia, signed a proclamation designating 30 Nov 2006 to be Canadian Forces Reserve Force Day in the province. The proclamation was issued in conjunction with a Canadian Forces Liaison Council event to recognize post-secondary educational institutions and private businesses in British Columbia that are supportive of students and employees in Reserve Force. Call for Nominations

The next CFLC National Employer Support Awards will be presented in Ottawa in the spring of 2007 and the next Provincial Awards will be presented between Jan-March 2007. All reservists are encouraged to nominate their civilian employer or educator for a CFLC award. Reservists are encouraged to nominate their supportive civilian employers and educational institutions for the 2007 Awards cycle early. Nominations close on 30 November 2006. Click here for more »
