Commemorative Gold Coin

This 14-karat gold coin with a face value of $100 was introduced by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2001 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Library of Parliament. Of interest to historians as well as coin collectors, this gold piece depicts a contempory effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and an inside view of the Library of Parliament on the reverse.

Print by Ben Babelowsky

This beautiful framed limited-edition print by renowned Ottawa artist Ben Babelowsky features a pin depicting Centre Block, struck from the copper remains of the original roof of the Parliament buildings. Suitably displayed in a stained mahogany wooden frame with a suede-textured turquoise green matte, this print measures approximately 56 cm.by x 67 cm., making it an excellent size for prominent display in almost any size room.
