Research Gateway

The results of the second call for proposals under Infrastructure Canada’s Knowledge-building, Outreach and Awareness (KOA) program are now available.

The results of the first call for proposals under Infrastructure Canada’s Canada’s Peer Reviewed Research Studies(PRRS) program are now available.

The Research and Analysis Division recently completed a research paper entitled Planning for a Soft Landing: Non-Renewable Resource Development and Community Infrastructure in the Northwest Territories. The paper provides an overview of research related to the impacts of resource development on infrastructure in remote communities, as well as an examination of existing tools and strategies that could help communities minimize the negative impacts of resource development and maximize the positive ones.
