As a Management and consular affairs officer, you would have a special impact on the corporate management of a dynamic and ever changing organization with a network of 170 missions accredited in 153 countries and more than 8,500 (4,890 locally-engaged) employees. You would also be responsible for managing the consular program which provides Canadians overseas with a wide range of assistance.

The foreign service has always been a vital part of Canada's image overseas as it promotes Canada as a modern, dynamic nation. Within Canada, the foreign service is a key centre of knowledge and expertise, contributing to the overall international objectives of the Government of Canada.

The foreign service can be your career. It demands a commitment, but offers the opportunity to invest in yourself, hone your strengths and work in a stimulating, ever-changing environment. Whether at home or abroad, put Canada in your future; make the world your workplace.
