In the Explore Our Maps section you
will find interactive maps about subjects such as environment,
people and society, the economy and history. Issues important
to Canadians such as climate change, freshwater and health
are introduced as collections of maps and analytical texts.
Map browser tools on the map interface allow you to explore
these subjects with the ability to zoom
in and out, go
directly to regions of interest and access statistics through
the Get Statistics button. You can learn more
by reading the texts provided for each map by clicking
on the Read about this Map button or by reading
the abstract text displayed directly on the map and clicking
for more. The Help section
describes these and other features available on the Atlas
site. If you still have questions, go to the Contact
Us button at the top of the page.
The Reference Maps section has a wide
range of black and white outline and colour maps to view,
download and print. The Map Archives collection
of maps includes all the original Atlas of Canada maps
from the First Edition (1906) to the Fifth Edition (1978
to 1995). Wall maps and free data are made available from
the Data & Services section.
The Atlas continues to publish regularly new maps on a
wide range of subjects, so be sure to visit the Atlas often!! |
