Community Development and Partnerships Directorate

The Community Development & Partnerships Directorate (CDPD) works to advance the social priorities of the Government of Canada related to children and their families by working with the voluntary sector by making strategic investments that build knowledge, facilitate information sharing, and support effective practices in early learning.

Activities include:

• Intercountry Adoption Services,
• the Social Development Partnerships Program,
• the Understanding the Early Years Initiative,
• the New Horizons for Seniors Program,
• the Supporting the Voluntary Sector and
• the Thérèse Casgrain Volunteer Award
