Overview
We provide our clients and the Canadian public with a variety of accurate and timely analyses and forecasts of ice and iceberg conditions - from daily bulletins on ice hazards and icebergs to seasonal outlooks.
Information on ice conditions posing immediate threats to ships, ports and other facilities - such as ice hazard bulletins and special warnings for ships - is freely available to the shipping and marine communities through weather and marine radio broadcasts.
The Canadian Ice Service provides a wide array of products, such as:
- ice and iceberg charts,
- ice and iceberg bulletins,
- ice model charts.
Some of our subscriber-only services (free of charge) also provide complementary marine and weather products.
