Since 2002, the NSNP has been providing notable opportunities for immigrants and their families. Our goal is to help the province meet its industrial, economic and labour market needs, resulting in a more diverse workforce and economy.

Potential Nominees
The NSNP offers assistance in two distinct categories:
- Skilled Worker Stream: to fill areas in which skill shortages exist
- Economic Stream: for experienced managers and business owners
Please Note: The province will not be accepting any new applications under the economic stream for the balance of the 2006 calendar year.
Nova Scotia Employers and Businesses
The NSNP offers assistance in two categories:
- Skilled Worker Stream: enabling employers to fill areas in which skill shortages exist
- Business Mentor Program : enabling businesses to offer an employment contract and mentoring to a newly landed Economic stream immigrant
