URL : http://www.msc.ec.gc.ca/media/top10/2004_e.html December 16, 2004July 8 , 2004ICARTT (International Consortium for Atmospheric Research on Transport and Transformation) 2004 is the collaboration of several institutions and agencies from the United States, Europe and Canada with the aim at developing a better understanding of the factors that shape air quality in their respective countries and the remote regions of the North Atlantic. The scientific objectives and planned activities of the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) for ICARTT 2004 will be on the interactions among trace gases, aerosols and clouds, as well as the transport of pollution into eastern Canada. These studies will be done in collaboration with Canadian universities and the National Research Council of Canada.
