The NSNP encourages qualified immigrants to settle in our communities to help the province satisfy its industrial, economic and labour-market needs. The Program is designed to help Nova Scotia employers fill critical skill shortages in the permanent workforce and to create economic benefit for the provincial economy.
If you meet the NSNP requirements, you could share the benefits of living and working in Nova Scotia. Currently, one of the biggest advantages of the NSNP is its significantly faster processing time. The NSNP could enable you to quickly gain work experience and income at the same time that you become accustomed to life in Nova Scotia.
