Sports & Leisure

When the great outdoors is just a stone’s throw away and the ocean is never more than a half-hour drive, Nova Scotia offers some of the best parks, golf courses, and beaches in the country and indeed the world. Our coastline meanders for 7,400 kilometres, and it surrounds over one hundred Provincial Parks.

The birthplace of Canada’s unofficial game, hockey, Nova Scotia is also home to many world-class sporting events and athletes (including medal-winning Olympians).
