Ahniin,
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the First Peoples National Party of Canada (FPNP) website. We give thanks to the Creator for giving us direction and the strength to establish the FPNP.
As Interim Leader, I firmly believe that the timing and commitment of those people who support the FPNP will leave an indelible mark on the Canadian political scene. The FPNP is an exciting concept that reflects the vision of our Elders and leadership.
Please feel free to read the information provided onsite. As well, your opinions and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Historically First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples have not participated in politics to our fullest extent. The FPNP will give us this opportunity to participate and have ownership of a political process that has sometimes seemed foreign and unresponsive to our needs and concerns. The House of Commons and the Canadian Parliament must represent the values and philosophy our peoples, the FPNP is a vehicle to make this a reality.
It is my hope that you will join us on this very unique and historical journey. You will find contact information on this site and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions. In summary, the FPNP welcomes your interest and participation to give the Party momentum as we enter the New Millennium. Miigwetch, Barbara Wardlaw Interim Leader On behalf of the FPNP Executive

The FPNP logo is a stylized turtle. The turtle represents
Turtle Island, the continent where the Creator placed the original
inhabitants of The Land. The blue background represents the oceans
surrounding us. The red, black, white and yellow circles
represent the races of the world who now live live on Turtle
Island and whom we share The Land and all of it's beauty and
resources with. The red background on which the circles
rest remind us of who the Original Inhabitants are and of the
inherent rights to that Land that exist.
