MINISTER STRAHL TO SPEAK AT BIODIESEL CONFERENCE IN CALGARY

OTTAWA, Ontario, July 14, 2006 - The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Calgary on Monday, July 17, to address the Biodiesel: Powered by Canola. Fueling our Future conference, hosted by the Canola Council of Canada and the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, and to make an announcement concerning the government’s biofuels commitment to farmers. Following his address, Minister Strahl will be available to speak to media.
