The objectives of this RFA are to enable researchers and research groups to meet for the purposes of discussing new research ideas, consensus development, and/or the development of innovative research proposals within the INMD's mandate's research priorities; enable researchers to develop new national and international collaborations and to further the ability of researchers to work across research disciplines and themes under the INMD mandate.
A total of 4 applications were submitted in December 2005. Applications were reviewed by an adhoc peer review committee resulting in 4 applications being approved for funding (success rate of 100%).
