65th anniversary of the Battle of Britain

WHO:
Canada’s Air Force and the Air Force Association of Canada invite the people of Ottawa to show their appreciation to Canadian war veterans, and the 103 Canadians who flew in the Battle of Britain, by attending this stirring and highly visual event.

WHAT:
65th anniversary Battle of Britain ceremonies featuring:

WHEN:
Sunday, September 18th 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

WHERE:
Canada Aviation Museum, Aviation and Rockliffe Parkways, Ottawa, Ontario. Admission is free. Members of the public are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or an umbrella as required.

PARKING:
Museum parking is restricted to veterans. Free public parking is at CFB Rockcliffe on Codd's road, north of Montreal road, continuous shuttles to the Canada Aviation museum will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
