Minister of Finance Ralph Goodale to Address the Conseil du patronat du Québec

Minister Goodale will be the guest speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Conseil du patronat du Québec on Tuesday, September 13, 2005. He is scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 12:15 p.m.

The Minister will speak on the need for the Government of Canada to work with the provinces, the private sector and Canadians as a whole to ensure that our nation remains prosperous in the years to come. In particular, he will speak about ways to make the Canadian economy more competitive.

The event will take place in the Oval Room of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 1228 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal.

There will be a question and answer session following the Minister’s speech and a media availability at approximately 2 p.m. in the Salon Vert.
