MINISTER OF JUSTICE APPOINTS CHIEF OF STAFF

OTTAWA, February 23, 2006 -- Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Vic Toews, Q.C., today announced the appointment of William Stairs as his Chief of Staff.

"Mr. Stairs brings a broad range of practical and political experience with him to the position," said Minister Toews. "This experience will serve him well in his new role."
