2006 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games
The 2006 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy are just around the corner. And Canada is ready to go!
The Government of Canada is proud to be the single largest supporter of amateur sport in Canada. This year, Canadian Heritage is providing $140 million to support participation and excellence in sport from the playground to the podium. This is the highest level of sport funding ever in Canada.
