Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Julie Payette in Gaspé Region and Îles-de-la-Madeleine

Longueuil, Quebec, February 16, 2006 - Representatives of the media are invited to attend presentations by Canadian Space Agency astronaut Julie Payette who will speak about space exploration, Canada's role in space, and the life of an astronaut during a mission. Payette is in the region to take part in La Grande traversée. The speaking events will take place in Bonaventure, Chandler, and Havre-aux-Maisons in Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
