MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR LA FRANCOPHONIE TO MAKE AN ADDRESS TO
MARK THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF LA FRANCOPHONIE
Jacques Saada, Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the
Regions of Quebec and Minister responsible for La Francophonie, will make an address
at a reception to be held on March 23, 2005, in honour of the International Day of La
Francophonie. Mr. Saada will talk about the advances made by La Francophonie, and
will speak in particular about the organization’s political role in the international arena.
The reception will be followed by a performance of the stage show Ode à l’Acadie.
