Canada to be featured at Colombia’s Andicom 2005 - October 26-28, 2005

Cartagena, Colombia, October 26-28, 2005 > The Andicom international telecommunications trade fair is the Andean region's largest and most respected telecommunications conference and commercial exhibition. This year, Canada has won the opportunity to showcase its ICT industry as Andicom 2005's profiled country. This will provide widespread exposure through the show's conference and publicity programs.

Last year's edition featured well over 2,500 professionals from the telecommunications sector, business representatives from more than 1,200 corporations and a commercial exhibition of 86 firms. Canada participated in the commercial exhibition with the largest international delegation.

Andicom is supported by the International Telecommunications Union, the Organization of American States, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Cintel (Colombia's Telecommunications Research Centre) and the Colombian Ministry of Telecommunications.
