Canada’s Special Envoy for Peace in Sudan attends funeral for First Vice President of Sudan

Prime Minister Paul Martin today announced that Canada’s Special Envoy for Peace in Sudan, Senator Mobina Jaffer, will represent Canada at the funeral of First Vice President of Sudan, Dr. John Garang de Mabior. Senator Jaffer will attend the service, to be held in Juba, Sudan on Saturday, August 6, at 11:30 a.m. local time.
