"Get Ready" Information Sessions

Series Two

After a successful Series One of the "Get Ready" Information Sessions, the Public Service Commission (PSC) is pleased to announce Series Two for the fall. These one-day sessions will focus on:

  • the transitional provisions of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA), as outlined in the Public Service Modernization Act (PSMA);
  • executive appointments;
  • political activities;
  • the Public Service Staffing Tribunal (PSST); and
  • PSC investigations.

Who Should Attend?

Human resources advisors (PEs) who are operational staffing specialists and who are required to provide advice and guidance to hiring managers. The information sessions may also be of interest to advisors at the corporate level who are involved in activities related to the above-mentioned subject areas. As Series Two is a continuation of Series One, we anticipate that participants in the May-June sessions will also attend Series Two.
