HMCS Chicoutimi Sealift Delayed Due to Strong Winds

MSPA MA-05.01 - January 6, 2005

OTTAWA –Due to prolonged high winds and seas in the approaches to and in Faslane, Scotland, the intended embarkation of HMCS Chicoutimi scheduled for today has been delayed until conditions improve.

Updates on the status of the sealift evolution will be posted on the HMCS Chicoutimi webpage at http://www.forces.gc.ca/site/Focus/chicoutimi/index_e.asp .

Video and still images of the embarkation and departure will be posted on the Canadian Forces Combat Camera website at http://www.combatcamera.forces.gc.ca/
