MINISTER STRAHL TO MEET PROVINCIAL COUNTERPART AND INDUSTRY LEADERS IN HALIFAX

Ottawa, March 15, 2006 - Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board Chuck Strahl will be in Halifax on Thursday, March 16, to meet with Nova Scotia Minister of Agriculture Ron Chisholm. Following their meeting, the Ministers will be available to speak to media and make an announcement on food safety. During his visit to Halifax, Minister Strahl will also meet with industry leaders.
