Serious incident involving Canadian Forces soldiers in AfghanistanCEFCOM NR–06.003 - March 2, 2006
OTTAWA - A serious incident has occurred involving Canadian Forces members in Kandahar. There are eight confirmed casualties with varying severity of injuries, at this time believed to be the result of a vehicle accident.
No more information will be available until we can assess the situation, verify details and confirm that the next of kin of involved soldiers have been informed.
