Canadian delegation visits Sri Lanka for IMEXPRO 2006

Colombo, Sri Lanka, March 16 -18, 2006 > The Canada-Sri Lanka Business Council in Toronto will visit Sri Lanka for the IMEXPRO 2006 International Trade Promotion Fair.

IMEXPRO offers an excellent opportunity for Canadian companies to meet buyers and sellers from across Asia who will be displaying their products and services. The organizer, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, hopes to have some 150 booths manned by local and foreign companies.

Besides import/export opportunities, Canadian companies may also discuss investment and joint venture opportunities with local companies in areas such as power and energy, roads, bridges and highways, information technology, solid waste management, waste water treatment, low-cost housing, Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP), fibre optic cable technology, tourism, apparel, rubber and rubber products.

The Canada-Sri Lanka Business Council is offering an attractive group package to Canadian delegates. For more information, contact:
