Early Career: Part 1 of 2

Gould passed his associateship examination in solo piano performance at the Toronto Conservatory of Music at the age of 12, and this success opened the door to a variety of concert experiences in his home town. By 1950, when he made his broadcast debut on the CBC radio network, he had become a Canadian celebrity.
